The use of steel profiled sheets for the construction of composite floors (PC 80.732) introduced an innovation that offers considerable advantages; the flexibility of the system allows quick use in all conditions. The ribs along the walls of the sheets are designed to anchor the concrete to prevent slippage and vertical detachment.

  • PC 83.732 METAL DECKING

    APPLICATION

PC83.732 is a ribbed steel sheet with bosses in the souls for shuttering and reinforcing concrete.

The use of the corrugated sheets in the construction of collaborant floors (PC 83.732) has introduced an innovation that offers considerable benefits. The elasticity of the system allows easy use in all conditions. The ribs along the walls of sheets permit the anchoring of the concrete thus avoiding horizontal slide or vertical detachment.

  • ACCESSORIES - FINISHING ELEMENTS

In accordance with our sales department, all elements are folded on request up to a maximum length of 6m according to the customer’s drawing. The price will be defined on the basis of the developed and the number of folds.

    Your customized gutters on request.

INSTALLATION OF FOLDED ELEMENTS OF FINISHING

If the elements are fixed in continuity, the connections must be sealed either by means of minimum covering or by fishplate junction. Quality sealing is achieved by means of silicone or butyl filters, or others adhesives.

The fixing of folded finishing elements is ensured by means of self-tapping or self-drilling screws. The screws for fitting covering elements are equipped with washers.

    CLEANING

If the folded finishing elements have been soiled during the assembly, cleaning should be made with clear water and soft brush.

  • INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION AND FIXING OF ROOF ON STEEL PURLINS

    • To prevent the infiltration of water through the screw, it is recommended to use a mider.
    • For the roof, the screws are preferably fixed at the top of the corrugation. Self-tapping screws are provided with a self drilling head. The sheets will be attached to each corrugation, at the top, at the foot and at overlap. The remaining screws will be distributed equally over the surface (34- screws per m²).

INSTALLATION AND FIXING OF WALL ON STEEL PURLINS

    • For the installation of cladding profiles, we recommend placing each sheet perpendicular before starting to fix, using a level.
    • Profiles must be attached to the covering and in the low point of the corrugation.
    • This way we avoid any distortion or damage. The cladding sheets are fixed in each wave trough.

INSTALLATION AND FIXING OF POLYESTER TRANSLUCENT ON ROOF ON STEEL PURLINS

    • For a cutting without filling , you should use :
      • a saw with a fine tooth blade if you are cutting by hand,
      • a circular saw if you are cutting mechanically.
    • Depending on the distance of the fixing points, the diameter of the holes drilled in the polyester will always be 2 mm higher than that of screws.
    • To avoid deformation of the sheet, screws and bolts can never be fixed directly to the polyester sheet. We must use an mider .
    • It is recommended not to exceed ranges of 1.20 m.
  • HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
    • The handling of sheets is preferably assigned to two people.
    • Plates up to 6 m : unloading by forklift truck.
    • Plates over 6 m : unloading by crane. Additional support (central) and a specific protection of the edges are advised to avoid distortion.
    • Sheet beyond 10 m : unloading by crane. It is imperative to use a lifting beam to distribute the load.

    STORAGE AND PROTECTION

    • Store the sheets dry under shelter.

    • If the sheets are stored outdoors, it is essential to store them by creating a slope so that water can flow.

    • On site, it is best to store the sheets under a canvas ensuring that air can circulate.

    • The translucent can never be s tored under direct sunlight. Store them under a canvas.
    • N e v e r w a l k o n polyester translucent.

    CUTTING AND CLEANING

    • In order to cut the pieces, always use a whittler. Never use disc saws. The burrs and incandescent particules caused from sawing will burn and damage the element coating.
    • The filings produced by drilling and other operations, during installation, should be swept away as they might inlay into the coating and cause irreparable damage.
    • If the profiles have been soiled during the assembly, cleaning should be made with clear water and soft brush.
